Dr. Sahil Bagai

Dr. Sahil Bagai has assumed the position of Head of Nephrology and Renal Transplant Medicine at Fortis Manesar, Gurugram. Despite originating from a modest background, he demonstrated exceptional determination, integrity, and intellectual acuity to successfully complete his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Doctor of Medicine (M.D. Medicine) from esteemed medical institutions in Delhi. Following a brief tenure at Medanta, Gurugram, he secured admission to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, one of India's most distinguished medical institutions, to pursue specialized training in nephrology. During his tenure at PGIMER, Chandigarh, he achieved considerable success in his academic pursuits and accumulated extensive clinical experience, particularly in the field of transplantation. Upon completion of his Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Nephrology, he was appointed as an Associate Consultant at Max Superspeciality Hospital, Saket, Delhi. He maintained this position for approximately seven years, continuously refining his clinical expertise before transitioning to his current role. He possesses comprehensive experience encompassing over 2,000 renal transplantations, including both ABO-compatible and ABO-incompatible procedures.
