• With 32 years of rich clinical experience, he has effectively managed patients with Endocrine and Diabetes conditions. Dr. KS Brar is not only an exceptional educator but also a talented researcher, skilled speaker, and prolific author.
• He has contributed over 60 articles to national and international peer-reviewed medical journals and has authored numerous chapters, serving as Co-editor for four textbooks aimed at postgraduate students. Additionally, Dr. KS Brar is a recognized Teacher, Guide, and Examiner in Endocrinology by the National Board of Examinations, India.

• In 2003, the Association of College of Chest Physicians and the Society for Advanced Studies in Medical Science (India) honored him with the Vishisht Chikitsa Medal (VCM).
• He conducted groundbreaking research on the morbidity and mortality associated with vitamin D deficiency in hip fractures, which earned recognition as the second-best original paper by the Association of Physicians of India in 2008.
• On January 26, 2014, Brig KS Brar was awarded the esteemed Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) by the Honourable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, in recognition of his significant contributions to the field of Endocrinology.
• Brig KS Brar was again honored with the Bar to Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM**), on January 26, 2022, by the Honourable President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, for his distinguished service and exceptional contributions in Endocrinology.
