He has also served as Honorary Consultant Cardiologist to His Excellency Sri PV Narasimha Rao, Prime Minister of India (1992-97), and to His Excellency Srikrishnakanth, Governor of Andhra Pradesh, among numerous other roles.
His areas of expertise encompass Emergency Cardiac Care, Coronary Interventions, including Primary Angioplasty, High-End & Advanced Coronary Interventions such as Rotablation, IVVS, and OCT guided interventions, Peripheral Interventions involving Renal, Carotid, and Upper and Lower Limb Perivascular Interventions, as well as Valvular Interventions including PBMV, PBAV, PBPV, TAVR, Permanent Pacemakers & AICDs, and management of Heart Failure and Hypertension. Over the course of these 27 years, he has authored numerous articles and research papers.
Rao Bahadur Dr. C. Rama Murthy Memorial Prize in Bacteriology awarded for achieving the highest score in the competitive examination in Microbiology during the academic year 1981-82.
